After a long tour that attempted to bring the band back to the forefront of alternative rock, Third Eye Blind is in the works of finishing up their fourth and fifth studio albums.
The albums, titled “Ursa Major” and “Ursa Minor,” are set to be released some time in Winter 2008. Ursa Major features new tracks that have already gained popularity through recent live performances.
The band’s long hiatus is due to front man Stephan Jenkins’ writing troubles but fans don’t seem to mind. The anticipation for the new albums is continuing to grow as the release “time frame” nears.
The band is rumored to follow up the release with some type of spring tour, although nothing official has been set.
